The California affidavit of identity is a legal document written following the California state laws. It acts as proof to show the true identity of a said person in a world where identity theft is very rampant. With such, in serious cases that require identification, word of mouth is not enough.
An affidavit of identity can be used for:
- Business operations where you need to verify the identity of the customers
- Court proceeding and ongoing cases
- Verification of your identity and signature by financial institutions or businesses
The affidavit of identity entails the provision of identifiable information which should be true and sworn under the oath.
On the top, enter details of the county you reside in in the state of California.
Enter the date the affidavit is entered/executed.
- The legal name of the affiant
- Date of birth of the affiant
- Social security number of the affiant
- Residential address of the affiant
In this section, the affiant should tick where appropriately on the documents they resent to the notary public as proof. It could either be; state-issued driving License, Government ID: passport, State issued ID: Identity card, or any other relevant legal document.
